Masters Message May 2021
This month’s meeting will consist of our class ofMasterMasonscompletingtheir proficiency and finally signing the bylaws of St. Johns #1 Providence after Covid-19 interrupted their progression last year. In addition, BrotherSeniorDeaconpresents the Middle Chamber, Brother Senior Wardendiscusses the Symbolism of the Middle Chamber, and the Masterdiscusses the letter “G".
At our April meeting, W. Mazen Alsabereceived his hard-earned Master’s Certificate from RW DDGM Andre H. Faria Jr.and I was honored to present him his Past Master’s jewel. Our most recent past Grand Master, Kenneth F. Poyton, presented our own R.W. Russell A. Kawa with his Gold Beehive to honor his tireless efforts on behalf of Freemasonry and the community. This is a truly rare award and recognition. Congratulations Brothers!
We also were joined by the Executive Director of Leadership Rhode Island, Mike Ritz, who talked about Community Leadership Development and the influence of DeMolay on his own personal development. It was very engaging and thought-provoking.
As the State has further eased restrictions, I look forward to finally having a meal with you this month. Please make sure to make your reservation for dinner no later than Wednesday, May 12thso that we can have an accurate count for the caterer.
As always, the Officers and I stand ready to help, aid, and assist the brethren in any way we can and with all the resources available to us.
Stay safe and stay well, Brothers!
