Masters Message November 2025

My Worthy Brothers,

Just a few weeks ago we experienced the honor of making Masons. Twice. It’s one of our foremost duties and obligations as Masons and a source of immeasurable pride for those involved. My sincere thanks to all who played a vital role in conferring the Entered Apprentice degree on the seven newest SJ1P candidates. When it was all said and done, all of them seemed moved by their life-changing experience.

And speaking of said and done, I’d be remiss not to acknowledge the help, aid and assistance given to the Lodge by the several Brothers who covered the multiple Officer absences created by illnesses and family medical circumstances.

My sincerest thanks are extended to R∴W∴ Ken Phillips, R∴W∴ Tim Culhane, Br. John Gauthier, Br. Joseph Puleo,
Br. Aubrey Fletcher and Br. Eric Perreault, all of whom ably filled the Chairs of the Brothers who could not man their usual post for the reasons given above. Thank you.

Not to be overlooked were the efforts of our ‘backroom’ Brothers. Namely, Br. Craig Sherman, Br. Bill Mott, Br.
Collin Plasse, Br. Brian Roberts and Br. Louis Doeg. Their efforts, which are mostly unseen by the Lodge, guided and mentored the candidates during the several stages of their initiation. It’s no less important than what takes place in the Lodge room. Thank you.

By the time this messaging reaches your humble abode, we’ll be at the threshold of yet another joyous Holiday season. Withthat, SJ1P’s theme for November’s stated meeting program will feature no less than the venerable M∴W∴PGM Peter Iacobucci, who will indulge us with his very own oration of “The Tradition of Giving Thanks:Puritans, Pilgrims, Freemasons and Indians”. It won’t be TV but I’m just as confident it’ll be a must see (and hear) presentation.

The program will be open to non-Masons as well.

That being said, keep in mind that dinner for the November 19th stated communication will begin @ 6:00 PM and will be a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. Lodge will open @ 7:00 PM to conduct our business and then commence with the evening’s program.

Per the usual, dinner reservations are required and can be made by calling 401-861-1757 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. no later than the Friday preceding the stated meeting. For November, that date is Friday the 14th.

Fast approaching as well are two notable SJ1P annual events, the 2025 Holiday Food Basket event – Saturday December 13th and our 2025 Holiday Party – Saturday December 20th. Detailed information for both is included with this Trestleboard mailing.

As always, your objective and constructive feedback is always welcomed.

Yours in the Craft,

W∴Robert James Larrabee
