Masters Message September 2018
Greetings Brothers:
We ended July on sad note. Our Brother W∴ Frank Allen Jr. joined the celestial lodge above. Frank was an inspiration to us all. His contributions to DeMolay and Rainbow are numerous and he will greatly be missed. Your line officers and I were busy this summer. We held the officer’s “org” meeting at brother Russ Kawa’s property in Coventry. Brother Ed Fielder could not host this year because of health issues but I am happy to report he is doing well.
Our Annual Picnic on August 19th was well attended with over one hundred members and their families A special thanks to Junior Warden Scott Miller and his lady Michele Berad for all the preparations as well as the cooks: Bill Mott, John Paliotta and Hugo Adames. Also a thsnks to our Senior Warden Mazen Alsabe who helped with logistics.
We start in September by hosting The Collegium Lvminosvm on September 19th and will follow a slightly unusual schedule. We will open at 5:30 pm, conduct a small amount of business, then proceed to the dining hall for dinner immediately followed by the program for the evening: Was Confucius a Mason?, presented by Brother Josh Irizarry. There will be a discussion following the program and then we’ll return to the lodge for closing.
Faith, Hope and Charity
